12/9/2008 - Maldives trip November 2008
We have just got back from a fantastic holiday in the Maldives diving from the liveaboard boat Nautilus 2. How about this? 12 manter rays on the first check out dive. This set the standard for the rest of the week which did not disappoint. The mornings diving with half a dozen whale sharks was an experience never to be forgotten. People who normally struggle to find the motivation to swim half the length of our training pool were so mesmorised by the whale sharks that they seemed to swim to the horizon and back many times. Although the coral has suffered at the hands of El Nino, the fish life still truely outstanding as you can witness for yourself in our online gallery. A wonderful holiday was had by all.

12/9/2008 - Scapa Flow 2009
Once again Blue Bell are heading north to dive the world famous German Fleet scuttled in Scapa Flow at the end of the First World War. the cost is £450 and includes transport from Sunderland, half board accommodation and use of 12 litre tanks and weights. Otherwise, bring your own equipment. We will be departing Sunderland on Friday 8th August, travelling overnight to Scrabster and then getting the ferry across to Stomness Saturday morning. We will be returning the following Saturday. Anyone interested should contact John in the usual manner and secure their booking with a £200 deposit. Book early to avoid disappointment.

4/29/2008 - Hayley’s Date with the Sharks
Take a look in our gallery at the latest photos from the Shark Diving Weekend in Edinburgh. Our divers experienced close encounters with sand tiger sharks and other big fish, usually only found abroad. The night dive took place at Deep Sea World under the guidance of a skilled aquarium diver providing a fantastic opportunity to approach the sharks without the need for a cage. 10/13/2007 - RED SEA - TYPHOON LIVEABOARD
We have just arrived back from a fantastic week’s diving in the Red Sea, aboard the liveaboard boat Typhoon. This was our first dive holiday in partnership with the Newcastle Dive Centre. Not only did we experience first class diving but the accommodation and food were excellent and the crew aboard the Typhoon were both friendly and attentive. We were provided with a great opportunity to dive some of the many Red Sea reefs and wrecks including the Thistlegorm and the Rosalie Moller. We would like to thank all who went for making it a huge success.
